Started in Barcelona–Olivia Plaza Hotel, beautiful hotel, room, location right on the Plaza de Catalunya–Welcome dinner at hotel–Lots of good food and wine–Got to know each other and had a fashion show of pieces from Knitting Reimaged with our girls modeling.

Great buffet breakfast—Wonderful bus tour of beautiful Barcelona–Gaudi Cathedral amazing–Grt tapas dinner’

All day workshop in lovely room on roof of hotel–Knitting piece that I exclusively designed for tour group–Everyone went to dinner and Flamenco Show-

On our way to Parador de Aiguablava stopped in Girona for shopping , lunch and visited fabulous toy museum–Fantastic modern hotel with luxurious rooms overlooking Mediterranean–Knitting classes at hotel–My birthday dinner with lovely cake and great paella–some of the gilrs spotted Sean Penn who was staying at the hotel

Trip to Figueres and the amazing Salvador Dali Museum–Back at hotel for non stop knitting.

Off to Parador Duques De Cardona a breathtaking second century castle converted into a hotel–Magical–Dinner in beautiful vaulted ceiling medieval dining room–I had ordered tiras for everyone to wear in the castle , but they never arrived, so I wound up getting paper crown from a local Burger King and we wore them at dinner, no matter how silly it was–Great fun

All day outdoor knitting on the gorgeous terrace of the castle–We all knitted birds nests that I had designed and the group showed off their talent, versatility, and imagination by adding their own personal touches–Great fun day–

Back to Barcelona with a stop at breathtaking Montserrat, the town and monestary built right into thee mountain–Saw the famous Black Madonna statue and heard the boyschoir sing in the cathedral–Farewell dinner back in Barcelona–Great time went too quickly–

Stayed an extra day to rest up and got to see the famous Gaudi “Skull” building only 3 blocks from hotel and then stumbled upon the annual horse parade–Horses of all kinds, everything from farm horses pulling hay wagons toe equistrians on thoroughbreds—It was extraordinary and went on for over an hour through the streets of Barcelona–

This was truly a memorable trip FIT FOR QUEENS!
