On the road again!

This time to the beautiful state of Maryland for a book signing and demonstration. The event took place at the A.C. Moore in Glen Burney (between Baltimore and Annapolis), and I got to meet a lot of nice knitters. I had a lovely surprise as Judi Kauffman, a friend and freelance writer/author (By The Batch), showed up for the event. A.C. Moore is great, and I could have spent the whole night there.

Now, onto the real reason that I travelled to Maryland…CRAB! I love it! On Friday night I had two large, delicious crab cakes at Moe’s in Glen Burney. On Saturday night we drove down to Annapolis to see our son Jeff and his fiancée Cindi. They have a charming new apartment with a beautiful view of Chesapeake Bay, and we went to Cantler’s Riverside Inn, a legendary crab and seafood restaurant. We got a table outside on the water, and out came this platter of very large steamed Maryland Crabs that were amazing. We grabbed our wooden hammers and dove into them. Yummy. It was fabulous.  On Sunday we headed back to New York, and I still daydream about those wonderful crustaceans.
