February 26, 2015 – March 9, 2015
Please join me for my Knitting In Paradise tour of Hawaii, February 26-March 08, 2015, where temperatures average 81 degrees (with low humidity) and the knitting will be even hotter!
Barbara and I have come up with a schedule of great knitting events and workshops, sightseeing, shopping, wining, dining, Maui chips & Kona coffee and amazing tropical fun in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
For 11 glorious days we’ll be staying at luxury resorts on the Big Island, Maui and Oahu and visiting places and shops with special interest to knitters–I’ll be teaching classes and designing a special project exclusively for this tour and supplying the yarn for it. And all of it in perfect weather far away from the winter on the mainland. We’ll even visit the Hula Bunny Farm that produces lovely angora yarns and you’ll meet the bunnies face to face, and you’ll find alpaca yarns from the nearby Ahuloa Alpaca farm, as well as other exotic handspun yarns.
This trip is filled with wonderful activities, but leaves enough time to relax in these magical islands.
We’ll visit yarn shops and markets filled with lots of goodies to take back home.
There will be a limited number of openings and we expect them to go fast, so sign up soon and join me in paradise!
